E.DT.A. salts / N.T.A. salts are used as raw materials to:

1. Chelates unwanted salts of CA, Mg, Fe, Cu, etc.

2. Stabilizes soaps against discolouration and increases foaming in hard water.

3. Use in optical whiteners for brightness.

4. Prevents interference from metallic impurities in electroplating solution.

5. Acts as superior water softner and also prevents Mg, Ca, Scale formation in boilers.

6. Give brighter and clear shades to dyes.

7. Stabilize Hydrogen peroxide and prevents pinholing in fabric.

8. Remove undesired yellow fint during mercerizing.
